Communication; Foundation of human culture

Something incredible about the human brain is, it never gets old, your appearance changes with time but stuffs you know never change. That’s exactly what history is all about, keeping unaltered details of the past, else it becomes no more. We understand people better off when we know their history. But in a presuming situation where you learn the wrong details about someone’s past, you are seemingly to be knowing someone else’s (maybe never existed) not the intended one neither their character. Such chaotic misconception brings about misjudgments, false suspicions and rumor creations among the human society instead of a peaceful coexistence.

Humans are social creatures; communication is the foundation of our culture. It’s a way we all connect. We verbally communicate through languages for which different cultures have different ways to. It establishes relationships among humans; family and friends whom are the most important. People say “life isn’t worth living till you find something to die for” if your friends aren’t (in most cases) your family is, because they are the reason for our daily endeavors. Also friendship is a million little thing, it’s something priceless. History didn’t only teach us about other people’s past but ours, there are people that don’t deeply know themselves because they lack knowledge about their family, community and culture’s past.

The breakthrough of the internet incubated social media which brought the virtual world into existence. Trends in social media stretch from country to country and region to region connecting people, ideas and messages. It’s a communication medium that brings us all together and it’s easily accessible. Our mode of verbal communication distinguished us from animals and made us social among the creatures. 95% of the human populations do verbally exchange words with one another. Not to say the rest 5% are no different from animals but, they’re humans that possesses natural deformities, verbal disabilities or diagnosis. But they’re no different on social media platforms.

Communication leads to interactions which sometimes induces people to anticipate wrong paths resulting to violence and hatred as negative energy flows in the community. Such social gloominess causes depression among the masses owing the fact that “the hate you give is the hate you take” it’s all part of the grand design. But it also leads to enjoyable moments though, moments you wish they stay forever. I do believe in coincidence but most of these happen for a reason. We are in an age where everyone’s talking and forgotten to have a conversation. Maybe it’s about changing the language or putting aside our differences and start listening to one another. Because when we do you would be amazed at what you might hear. Always be ready for a new conversation.
