People and Power

Human beings express oppositions through actions or words when they realize their rights are being compromised by a supreme authority as a pathway for social justice. A government is supposed to be an administrative organization that would govern an authority of a political unit through the determination of civil rights and the assignment of rewards and punishments for actions, but faced the other way round in today’s reality. Making better solutions doesn’t come in changing individuals on the authority but creation of awareness through legal means so as to deliver messages because, we all act like the underdogs but the moment we get power, we are no different.

A reason why we living is; serving the purpose of humanity before facing the non-defied (death), which (from a present statistics) most population finds it difficult to slide through due to an effect of a poor management from authorities. Individuals that came to this realization whereby making their voices heard by outlining the faults of the authorities and educating the masses about the genesis of their absurd position in life whom which are called names by several authorities are the “Human right activists” in which they exercises as part of their jobs or in a voluntarily capacity. As a result of their activities, they sometimes are the object reprisals and attacks of all kinds, including surveillance, harassment, false charges, arbitrary detention, restriction on the right to freedom of association, and physical attacks.

Legacy is a footprint of desirable outcome achieved by an individual, we remember people like Nelson Mandela by the incredible effort he persuaded to make sure his people get justice no matter what he went through whose story has a good ending despite its beginning, his efforts might not benefits you but inspire you that “no matter what you are getting yourself through, at the end you are going to achieve what you want”. Moral principles or norms that describe certain standards of human behaviors protected as natural and legal rights in domestic and international laws are commonly understood as FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS which a person is inherently entitled to for being a human, which includes freedom of speech and expression which activists exercises to make their voices heard. Now the world is a global village “thanks to the communication technology” which is full of mixed communities with different believes and approach towards problem, a concern is on the misunderstanding “faith reliance for justice” when people pointed out their source of downfalls yet let faith handle all. After believing in faith for our destiny, we really need some efforts for that faith to reflect on to bring in solutions. The United Nations Declaration on Human Right and Responsibility of individuals, Groups and Organs of Society to Promote and Protect Universally Recognized Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (A/RES/53/144) on December 9, 1998, commonly named as the Declaration on Human Rights Defenders, marks a historic achievement in the struggle toward better protection of those at risk for carrying out legitimate human rights activities and is the first UN instrument that recognizes the importance  and legitimacy of the work of human rights defenders, as well as the right responsibility of all to protect human rights. Throughout history, political entities have expanded from basic system of self-governance and monarchy to the complex democratic and totalitarian systems that exist today. Human rights are being violated as a pave way to maintain an abusive power by a central authority which claims to be the sole legitimate representative of the people, whereby uses a different platform to mislead the community to believe that another body is responsible for the problems they create. Back then people obtain power through political means to maintain order and development in a society but now the results of zero activists makes politics a career whereby people enter the game for the growth and the welfare of their family which makes the responsibility of their people the least of concern. Being on an authority gives you power to control people which also makes it difficult to point out all problems, with the efforts of human right activists, the voice of the minorities would be heard whereby gives a better opportunity for the government to communicate with the locals.
