Anger is an emotion which gives a way to express negative
feelings. It involves a strong uncomfortable and hostile response to a
perceived provocation, hurt or threat. Humans show expressions when they are
accumulated by anger either from the within or external factor. It motivates
you to find solutions to problem. It can be a substitute emotion, which means
sometimes people make themselves angry so that they don’t have to feel pain by
changing their feelings of pain into anger because it feels better to be angry
than it does to be in pain. But anger can cause a problem.
We have different reasons to be angry for, voluntarily or
involuntarily. Some concerns personal matters and others relating to people.
Understanding where your anger comes from and to whom you passes upon to is
important. For example; in females, research has clearly showed the
relationship between their mood disorder and fertility which causes
unconditional anger in their childbearing years, and bipolar; which is derived
from the Greek word bi + polar which means two poles (two psychological sides
of the brain) a mental disorder that causes periods of anger (depression) and
periods of abnormally elevated mood.
Stress also causes mental pressure
resulting to descendant of aggression which is an involuntary anger that comes
from the within. An empty stomach results to hunger which also causes
involuntary anger as the brain losses energy resulting to mental stress from
which the famous quote “A hungry man is an angry man” evolved. Being conscious about the source of your anger
reduces the chance of descending upon an innocent victim. Our anger as an
emotion is sometimes stimulated unintentionally and unknowingly to the effect by
people around us or in the virtual world, in this situation, one is urged to
address such anger as mistakenly sourced and therefore bestow upon forgiveness to
the person.
We often tag anger as an emotion we are better off without;
we read self-help books to avoid fairy outbursts. But is it really an emotion
that should be dealt with in such a way? Maybe not. Psychologist say there are
many ways of expressing voluntary anger which can help you avoid pressed
emotions which take other forms such as binge eating or resentment, it
alleviated uncertainty and can help avoid more aggressive situations. After we
get rid of our anger, we are often in a sober state of mind to reflect on our
actions, anger can motivate you to achieve what you want or drive others to
achieve something for example, you can be angry at your kids for not studying,
being a coach, you can be angry at your team for under-performing and so on.
Anger is a completely normal and even healthy emotion, it is
important to deal with it in a positive way. Dealing with it a negative way
turns it to be destructive and totally out of control resulting to a complete
and total massive depression. In this condition, it creates a chain which
passes depression from one person to the other and so on. Chronic, explosive
anger has serious consequences for your relationships, your health, and your
state of mind. Getting anger under control is easier than you think, because
