Children less than 12 die across the world in cause of diseases, starvation, etc, and some of the major causes are war and crises, when such incident happen, number of casualties is seen, the survivors live a day with no hope of living another day, most of them lost their job, beloved ones, home, family, friends, and happiness. In a solution to the fear and chance of getting killed, they migrate to a safer place (mostly a strange place) and live their lives as refugees, sometimes they are not welcomed (in most places). They lost everything they had, so they completely depend on hospitality from the hosts and volunteers. It’s not all about how many you see around, it’s about how many have you hospitalized? How many have you saved?
Beign a philanthropist is not just about having a charity organization or starting a foundation, it’s about helping mankind, promoting the welfare of others and love for humanity, you don’t have to be billionaire, giving out from the amount you have or from what whave is also an act of philanthropy. Helping one person can come in terms of life changing, Saving a man who have a family is like saving the entire family and their generations. Ignoring them and rejecting them is like threatening humanity, leaving them starving and dying is like making humanity extinct, instead of them living, growing up and having children but dying together with their incoming generation due to lack of hope. Saving one is like saving his/her incoming generation.
Saving refugees didn’t just come in giving them money or food, but in giving them something they lost like shelter, job and education. Treating them equally and just is also a welcome sign. If you help a minimum of 1 person per month, and in a year you would help 12, if 1000,000 out of the 7000,0000,000 population of the world would save 1 per month, 12,000,000 people would be saved and for a year or two the number of eyes crying for help would decrease massively or not any would be found.
Children are 20% of the population but 100% of the future, and education gives them ability to take part in the future and brightens it as well, giving them the opportunity to enter school would not just make them responsible and civilized but give them the ability to take part in the future. It also help them set goals and dreams then work hard to achieve them.
Growing up getting aids, and caring, would not just save them and make them happy, but would also inspire them to help other people even better.
